Xander Vermeulen Windsant
Denmark

Xander Vermeulen Windsant graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Delft University of Technology, with honours. After working at Claus en Kaan Architecten in Amsterdam, he established XVW architectuur in 2010. Since then, together with a small dedicated team, he has worked on small private commissions, medium-size newly-built apartment buildings, and large-scale renovation projects. One of these projects, Kleiburg (designed together with NL Architects), won the Mies van der Rohe Award 2017 and the Dutch Design Awards 2017.



Māra Ābele
Poland

Māra Ābele graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, Riga Technical University, and was awarded a Master’s degree in Architecture at Universite dé Paris VIII. She is an architect and director of the Architectural Bureau Jaunromāns un Ābele. Since 2005, the Bureau has gained significant public and private project experience. Its contribution to the Latvian architecture and design has been recognised by several annual Latvian Architecture Awards. Māra Ābele is also a Member of the National Architecture Council of the Ministry of Culture. She also carries out duties as the Chairwoman of the Expert Panel of the Culture Capital Foundation of Latvia representing the design and architecture sector. Māra worked as a lecturer and practical assistant professor at Riga Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, for 7 years (2008–2015).



Kalle Komissarov
Albania

Architect Kalle Komissarov was born in 1976. In Tallinn, Estonia. He graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts, the Department of Architecture and Urbanism (2000) and the Berlage Institute in the Netherlands (2006). Since then, he has been actively involved in various architectural practices: he has written for cultural magazines, taught at the Estonian Academy of Arts and was a former member of the board of the Estonian National Cultural Foundation. Since 2007 he is a member of the Estonian Union of Architects and in 2016-2020. was its vice president. Kalle currently works for the state-owned real estate development and management company Riigi Kinnisvara AS, which belongs to the Republic of Estonia.
