About: The area of a former duck farm by the Curonian Lagoon,
discovered two decades ago by kiteboarding enthusiasts,
visionaries and architects, has transformed into
Lithuania’s only town on the water with a system of
canals and islands, residential, commercial and
community buildings, and quality spaces in between.
The project has created a cozy coastal village
atmosphere with a democratic, user-friendly and
human-scale environment. Here, everyone feels like a
member of the community and has a daily connection
with the water and wind, as well as the unique local
nature and history.
