About: A school built in the Soviet era according to a standard
design. The building was built without any consideration
for the steep slope of Naugarduko street - just a
flattened construction site. The real estate development
company that bought the building wanted to turn it into
a block of flats. We solved the puzzle in one fell swoop
by cutting the building in half. In this way, we purified
the urban connection between Poppy Street and the
Vingrių Springs public space, increased the perimeter of
the facade, created humane entrances to the existing
staircases, and designed additional terracotta f
