About: Why focus on a middle school inj Klaipeda ?
The school´s main entrance leads to the lobby, a
multifunctional space with an amphitheater. In the
center of the entrance hall "grows" the "Tree of
Knowledge", a wooden structure that supports the
ceiling of the first-floor lobby with its branches and that
also extends into the interior courtyard on the second
floor. This courtyard is an informal recreational space
with a living apple tree, which, like the school, bears its
fruit every year. The school´s interior is dynamic and
open, resembling "classrooms without walls" or
"classrooms outside."
