About: The project´s idea is directly connected to the historical
context. The volume of the Tuskulėnai Manor and its
former dependencies inspired the architectural concept:
to create a composition of small-scale, rhythmically
arranged volumes. The terraced terrain in the vicinity is
extended into the project area, with building volumes
integrated through inclined, green surfaces, allowing
large-scale functions to blend into the slope. The
façades feature exposed metal truss constructions,
which modernly interpret the historically prevalent
wooden structures (trusses, rafters, beams) in the
context.
