About: Earthly house in communal gardens. The 85 square
meters house was just the right size for the client, who
wanted something rarely seen in Lithuania. Rammed
earth walls surround the house on all sides. The
volumetric composition is designed in such a way that
you would never guess how high the space is, where one
floor ends and the other begins. A small vertical
labyrinth on a small plot. The house will be used more as
a summer residence. We are not sure if we can turn this
concept into reality as rammed earth is not a common
building material in Lithuania, but as a concept we really
like it.
