About: "Siaurės krantas" - the winner of the competition for the
Danė quays near the Old Port in Klaipėda. The project
aimed to create a lively urban space, which would be
convenient to reach the ferry and to relax comfortably
by the water and watch the river and the port. Square
spaces with different character are distinguished: a port
character path closer to the water and a functional
pedestrian and bicycle path along the city of Memel.
Between the paths, on the site of the old buildings,
there is a green belt with many trees, benches and cozy
places to rest.
