About: During a five-day Travelling Architecture Workshop with
the children and youth of Narteikiai village, a new public
place was created that added a unique quality to the
existing sports field. The workshop team noticed the
need for a comfortable sitting and communing area;
therefore, a wooden spectator stand (Tribune) was built
in the village centre. The project uses wooden beams
and wooden panelling. TAW is an architecture education
project for children and youth that has been
implemented since 2013.
