About: In Baltoji Vokė a leisure space was renewed and
developed in a five-day workshop with local children and
youth. A mysterious island has been chosen near the
pond of a Manor, where the bridge was rebuilt, the
existing pavilion revonated and the mobile outdoor
furniture was created. Adults helped to cut the tall
grass, and the children raked, swept and cleaned the
entrances of the island. The space continues to be used
for community activities. TAW is an architecture
education project for children and youth that has been
implemented since 2013.
