About: A long-abandoned late 19th-century historicist
apartment building in Užupis has been reconstructed,
preserving its valuable features while adapting the
building to meet the needs of modern urban residents. A
two-level underground parking garage was built beneath
the entire courtyard, new balconies were added to the
courtyard facade, shaping the building´s courtyard
appearance. At the same time, old tile stoves in the
apartments were carefully restored, fragments of 19th-
century stenciled paintings were preserved and other
valuable elements of the building were retained.
