About: In one of the most picturesque halls of the Mažeikiai
Museum, an exhibition has been created about the
history of oil extraction, processing, product logistics,
and the future use of this energy source.
Visitors have the opportunity to see what the refinery,
spread over more than a thousand hectares, looks like,
and to learn how Mažeikiai, a city that earned the title
of "oil town," grew in parallel with the construction of
this industrial giant.
The exhibition is designed to accommodate visitors of all
ages, including people with disabilities.
