About: The Nemunas Bridge is a pedestrian bridge with
expressed public spaces on the riverfronts where it
lands, including floodable plaza, amphitheatres, and
other terraced spaces. It is part of a wider masterplan,
that together with the newly realized Nemunas island
bridge-plaza will create an ensemble of
riverfront spaces and connect ex-riverport, ex-
industrial, and city centre riverbanks. The Nemunas
bridge is a to be build completed technical project that
will link ex-industrial Aleksotas with the iconic Nemunas
